Removals is the logistics trade of physically moving the contents of a property, furniture, boxes, appliances, white goods, fragile items, from one address to another, with packing, transport, parking-permit arrangement, and unload-and-setup at the destination. The visible work (loading and driving) is roughly half the job; the other half is the planning: vehicle size against contents volume, parking-bay suspensions where needed, access surveys for narrow streets and stairs, packing-material supply, and goods-in-transit insurance cover.
The model splits between hourly bookings (man and van, single-item and small-move work) and larger moves quoted as a single job (full house and office relocations where the volume is known in advance). Most London moves benefit from a single quoted job because the variable to control is parking-bay suspension lead time and the risk of a delayed traffic warden visit, not the hours on the clock.

Full house moves from 1-bed flats to 4+ bedroom properties. Team of 2–3 with large van or lorry. All furniture wrapped and protected. Beds disassembled, transported, and reassembled at the new address.
Desk moves, IT equipment (with care for cables and screens), filing cabinets, server-room kit. We work evenings and weekends to avoid disrupting business operations. IT-decommission/recommission coordination available.
Full packing service (we pack everything for you) or partial packing (we pack the fragile items, you pack the rest). Boxes, bubble wrap, tape, tissue paper, and wardrobe boxes supplied. Most full-pack jobs add 1 day before move day.

Beds reassembled, wardrobes positioned, sofas in the agreed rooms, kitchen boxes left near the kitchen. We walk through with you before leaving and remove all used packing materials at no extra charge.

According to British Association of Removers guidance, the most common cause of move-day stress is parking-bay availability and access disputes, not the loading itself. Inner London moves frequently require parking-bay suspensions with 5–10 working days lead time, and many removal companies do not handle these on the customer’s behalf, leaving the homeowner to chase council permits while also managing every other aspect of the move.
