Central heating is the pipework, radiators, valves, pumps and cylinder that carry heat around your home. When it is not working well you notice it: radiators cold at the bottom or the top, rooms that never warm up, a boiler that keeps losing pressure, or banging and gurgling in the pipes. Most of those faults are in the heating system around the boiler, not the boiler itself, and that is plumbing work.
Anything inside the boiler itself is gas work and is carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
Sludge and rust build up in older systems and leave radiators cold at the bottom. A power flush pushes cleaning chemicals through the system at high flow to clear it, then we add inhibitor to protect it.
