    Do you take calls outside working hours?

    Our standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 7am to 6pm — that is when we answer phones live and reply to emails within the hour. Outside those hours the same number connects to our 24-hour emergency line for urgent issues only (active leaks, electrical faults, lock-outs, security emergencies). For non-urgent enquiries received out of hours, we reply first thing the next working day.

    Do you work weekends or bank holidays?

    Weekend work is by arrangement — we do not run a full weekend schedule, but we accommodate booked weekend work where it suits both sides (typically refurbishment work that benefits from running through a Saturday or short multi-day jobs). Out-of-hours rates apply for evening, weekend, and bank holiday call-outs; we always confirm the rate before booking.

    Can I get a quote without a site visit?

    For straightforward jobs — furniture assembly, dripping taps, light fittings, blocked drains — we can usually quote from a description and a couple of photos. For larger or unclear work (refurbishments, multi-trade jobs, anything where access matters) we book a free site survey, then return a written quote within 48 hours. There is no charge for either approach.

    How quickly can you start once I accept a quote?

    For handyman, plumbing, and electrical jobs we start within 3–7 working days of quote acceptance. Refurbishment projects (kitchens, bathrooms) typically have a 2–4 week lead time depending on materials and Kris’s schedule. Emergency call-outs are answered within 1–2 hours during the day via the 24-hour line.

    Yes — free site surveys at your property, no obligation, no pressure, no follow-up sales calls. We measure up, look at access and supply considerations, discuss what is feasible, and return a written, itemised quote within 48 hours of the visit.
